Terms & Conditions
Conscious Life Architecture Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. Who We Are
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website consciouslifearchitecture.com (the "Website") and your purchase of any digital products, online courses, or 1:1 sessions (together, the "Services") offered by:
Daniel K Baumann LLC, trading as "Conscious Life Architecture" 33 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States Contact: dkbaumann.services@gmail.com
Referred to in these Terms as "we," "us," or "Conscious Life Architecture."
By purchasing any Service, browsing the Website, or creating a member account, you ("you," "the customer," or "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Services
In short: your purchase grants you access to the specific Course described on its product page — its video, audio, and written materials — through your member account on the Website, for your own personal, non-commercial use, as further detailed in Section 5 below.
We offer:
- Self-paced online courses ("Courses"), delivered as digital content (video, audio, and written materials) accessible through a member area on the Website.
- 1:1 sessions, delivered online or in person, as separately booked and described at the time of booking.
- A free assessment tool, provided for informational and self-reflective purposes only.
2.1 Nature of the Content
Our Courses and sessions relate to topics including nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, emotional processing, and personal development. This content is educational and self-development in nature.
Our Services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other licensed professional care. We are not a licensed medical provider, psychotherapist, or psychiatrist. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or believe you may be, please contact emergency services or a licensed professional in your area immediately, not us.
By purchasing or participating in our Services, you confirm that you are voluntarily choosing to participate, that you are responsible for your own physical and emotional wellbeing during and after any exercise, and that you will consult a qualified healthcare provider before participating if you have any medical or psychological condition for which this may be relevant.
3. Purchases, Pricing & Payment
3.1 Pricing
Prices for Courses and sessions are displayed on the Website in EUR (or USD for buyers in the United States) and are final, all-inclusive amounts. We do not currently add VAT or sales tax at checkout. If you are required to self-account for VAT or any other tax in your own country (for example, under a reverse-charge mechanism), that remains your responsibility. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; changes will not affect purchases already completed.
3.2 Promotional Pricing
From time to time we may offer promotional or discounted pricing (such as "Early Bird" pricing) for a limited number of purchases or a limited time. Once a promotional offer's stated limit (number of spots, or time period) has been reached, the offer ends automatically and the standard price applies to subsequent purchases.
3.3 Payment
Payment is processed through Stripe. We do not directly store your full payment card details. By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms of our payment processor.
3.4 Access
Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the relevant Course content through your member account on the Website, immediately.
4. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers) & Refund Policy
4.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union (or another jurisdiction providing an equivalent right), you ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
However, because our Courses are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, this statutory right does not apply once you have:
(a) expressly requested that we begin providing the Course to you immediately, before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and
(b) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance (i.e., delivery of digital content / access to the Course) has begun.
You provide this request and acknowledgment at the time of purchase, via the checkout confirmation described in Section 4.3 below. Once you have gained access to Course content on this basis, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies, and our own Refund Policy (Section 4.2) governs instead.
4.2 Our Refund Policy
Notwithstanding Section 4.1, we voluntarily offer the following refund policy for Course purchases:
You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have accessed less than 20% of the total Course content (measured by modules/lessons viewed or completed in the member area).
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to dkbaumann.services@gmail.com. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 2 business days.
Refund requests made after 48 hours, or after 20% or more of the Course content has been accessed, will not be granted, except where required by applicable law.
This refund policy applies to self-paced online Courses only. Refunds and cancellations for 1:1 sessions and the 3-month 1:1 journey are governed by Section 4.4 below.
4.3 Checkout Confirmation
At checkout, you will be asked to actively confirm both of the following before completing your purchase:
- General Terms Acceptance — "I have read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy."
- Digital Content & Withdrawal Waiver — "I expressly request immediate access to this digital Course, and I acknowledge that by doing so, I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once I access the content. The Refund & Cancellation Policy applies instead."
Completing your purchase after ticking both boxes constitutes your informed agreement to these Terms, including the withdrawal waiver described above.
For 1:1 sessions and the 3-month 1:1 journey, only the first confirmation (General Terms Acceptance) is required, as no immediate digital content access is involved. The cancellation policy in Section 4.4 is displayed at checkout before payment.
4.4 1:1 Sessions & 3-Month 1:1 Journey — Cancellation Policy
- You may reschedule or cancel a booked session with at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
- Cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice are refunded in full to the original payment method.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, and no-shows, are non-refundable and the session is treated as delivered.
- For the 3-month 1:1 journey, this policy applies to individual sessions within the journey; sessions cancelled late may be forfeited without replacement.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be offered a new slot or a full refund of that session, at your choice.
Nothing in this Section limits refund rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
5. Access, Licence & Intellectual Property
5.1 Licence Granted to You
Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the purchased Course for your own personal, non-commercial use.
5.2 What You May Not Do
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- Share, resell, sublicense, distribute, or make available your account access or Course content to any third party
- Copy, reproduce, record, or republish any Course materials, in whole or in part
- Use the content for any commercial purpose, including teaching or coaching others using our materials
5.3 Our Intellectual Property
All Course content, including video, audio, written materials, exercises, branding, and the Conscious Life Architecture framework itself, is our intellectual property (or licensed to us) and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
5.4 Member Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5.5 Acceptable Use
When using the Website, your member account, or interacting with us, you agree that you will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, other users' accounts, or our systems
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or extract Course content
- Upload or transmit any unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful content through any contact form, comment area, or community feature we may offer
- Use the Website, the assessment tool, or the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have violated this Section 5.5 or engaged in conduct that harms us, other users, or the integrity of the Services.
6. Availability & Changes to Courses
We aim to keep purchased Courses accessible indefinitely ("yours to revisit anytime"), but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability, and we may need to temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
We may update, improve, or modify Course content over time. Where reasonably possible, we will notify existing purchasers of material changes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding outcomes, results, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Services.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at dkbaumann.services@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services that cannot be resolved directly with us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer protections which cannot be excluded by agreement, this governing law clause does not deprive you of the protection of those mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
