Conscious Life Architecture Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. Who We Are
Daniel K Baumann LLC, trading as "Conscious Life Architecture" 33 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States Contact: dkbaumann.services@gmail.com
We are the "data controller" responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, in connection with your use of consciouslifearchitecture.com (the "Website") and our courses, sessions, and assessment tool (together, the "Services").
2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect deliberately little. Specifically:
Account & purchase data: your name and email address, used to create your member account, log you in, and give you access to purchased Courses. Purchase confirmation and billing details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe (see Section 5) — we do not store your full card details ourselves.
Assessment data: if you complete the free self-assessment, we collect your responses and the results generated from them, associated with the email address you provide, so we can share your results with you.
Communication data: messages you send us directly via email, contact forms, or social media DMs (e.g., Instagram), if you choose to contact us.
1:1 session data: if you book a 1:1 session, information you share with us during that session, to the extent necessary to provide the service. We treat this information as confidential.
We do not currently use tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not collect any personal data beyond what is described above. If this changes in the future (for example, if we add website analytics), we will update this Policy and, where required, implement a cookie consent mechanism before doing so.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your member account and provide access to purchased Courses
- Process payments and fulfil your purchase
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., purchase confirmations, access details)
- With your consent, send you marketing communications about new courses, offers, or content (see Section 4)
- Generate and share your results from the free assessment
- Improve our Website and Services
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations
3.1 Legal Basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|
| Fulfilling a purchase / providing a Course | Performance of a contract |
| Marketing emails | Consent |
| Responding to inquiries | Legitimate interest / consent |
| Legal and accounting compliance | Legal obligation |
4. Marketing Communications
If you opt in (e.g., by subscribing to a waitlist or newsletter), we will send you emails about new courses, offers, and related content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing will not affect service-related communications tied to a Course you've purchased.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following service providers, each of whom processes data on our behalf and only for the purposes described below:
| Provider | Purpose | Data Involved | Location / Safeguard |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | Billing details, payment confirmation (Stripe handles full card data directly; we never receive or store it) | Global provider; safeguards per Stripe's own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy) |
| Bunny.net | Video hosting and streaming, for Course content | Basic playback/view data | EU (Frankfurt, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden) |
| Lovable Cloud | Hosting our Website and member area; storing account profiles, course entitlements, orders, and sign-ups | Name, email, account and order data | EU-West (Ireland), on AWS infrastructure; encrypted in transit and at rest |
| Tally (Tally BV, Belgium) | Hosting and capturing responses to our free self-assessment form | Your assessment responses and the email you provide | Belgium/EU; initially encrypted on EU servers |
| Google LLC (Google Sheets) | Storing and processing submitted assessment responses for our internal review and to generate your results | Your assessment responses and email | United States; transferred under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework |
| Legal authorities | Where required by law | As legally required | — |
Scope note: Google Sheets is used exclusively for free self-assessment submissions. If you purchase a Course, your purchase, account, and Course-related data never passes through Google Sheets — it is handled only via Stripe and Lovable Cloud, as described above.
Regarding Google Sheets specifically: we restrict access to the relevant spreadsheet to authorized personnel only, and take reasonable steps to secure this data. We are working toward moving assessment data storage to a more fully isolated, enterprise-grade system as our operations grow.
6. Cookies
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies — for example, a session cookie that keeps you logged into your member account. These essential cookies do not require your consent under applicable law, since the Website cannot function without them.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. If this changes in the future, we will update this section and implement a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies before any such cookies are set.
7. International Data Transfers
Most of your data stays within the EU: our video content is hosted via Bunny.net (Frankfurt and Stockholm), and our member-area and account data is hosted via Lovable Cloud in the EU-West (Ireland) region.
Two exceptions:
- Stripe may process and store payment-related data outside the EU/EEA (Stripe is a global provider with entities in multiple jurisdictions, including the US), using its own safeguards. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Google LLC stores your submitted assessment responses (via Google Sheets) on servers in the United States. This transfer is safeguarded under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, a legal mechanism recognized for transfers of personal data from the EU to participating US companies.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting record retention periods), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Assessment data and account data are retained for as long as your account remains active, plus 3 years thereafter, unless you request deletion sooner.
9. Your Rights
If GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dkbaumann.services@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days under GDPR).
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
13. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact: dkbaumann.services@gmail.com
Note: since we are a US-based LLC serving an international audience including EU visitors, we've also published a separate Imprint page disclosing our legal entity details, in line with general e-commerce transparency best practice.
