1. Who We Are

We are the "data controller" responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, in connection with your use of consciouslifearchitecture.com (the "Website") and our courses, sessions, and assessment tool (together, the "Services").
2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect deliberately little. Specifically:
Account & purchase data: your name and email address, used to create your member account, log you in, and give you access to purchased Courses. Purchase confirmation and billing details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe (see Section 5) — we do not store your full card details ourselves.
Assessment data: if you complete the free self-assessment, we collect your responses and the results generated from them, associated with the email address you provide, so we can share your results with you.
Communication data: messages you send us directly via email, contact forms, or social media DMs (e.g., Instagram), if you choose to contact us.
1:1 session data: if you book a 1:1 session, information you share with us during that session, to the extent necessary to provide the service. We treat this information as confidential.
Course exercise answers: if you take the Vision & Direction course, the answers you enter in its exercises (for example your goals, vision notes and reflections) are saved to your account so you can continue on any device. Only you can see them. You can download them as a file or delete all of them at any time from within the course.
Constraints, Limiting Beliefs & Capability exercise answers: if you take this course, the answers you enter in its exercises (for example the constraints, rules, beliefs and fears you map, your ratings and your practice steps) are saved to your account so you can continue on any device. Only you can see them. If you also own Vision & Direction, some exercises can show your growth edges and the goals you marked as possibly someone else's voice in that course. You can download your answers as a file or delete all of them at any time from within the course.
Market & Value Alignment exercise answers: if you take this course, the answers you enter in its exercises (for example your strengths, the value you create, your route choice and your experiments) are saved to your account so you can continue on any device. Only you can see them. If you also own Vision & Direction, some exercises can show your "Serve" items and your directions for the next twelve months from that course, and your earlier placement on the four-states grid for reference. You can download your answers as a file or delete all of them at any time from within the course.
Freedom Systems: the exercises in this course (your Structural Dependency Audit, Freedom Systems Gap Map, Company Worksheet, and Freedom Systems Blueprint) save your answers to your account so you can continue on any device. Only you can see them, and you can download or delete them anytime from within the course.
Ad measurement data: if you accept advertising cookies, we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure whether our Instagram/Facebook ads lead visitors to our Website and to actions such as starting the free assessment. This involves technical data about your visit (pages viewed, actions taken, device/browser information, and a truncated IP address) being reported to Meta. See Sections 5 and 6 for details and how to change your choice at any time.
We do not collect any personal data beyond what is described above.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your member account and provide access to purchased Courses
- Process payments and fulfil your purchase
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., purchase confirmations, access details)
- With your consent, send you marketing communications about new courses, offers, or content (see Section 4)
- Generate and share your results from the free assessment
- Improve our Website and Services
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations
3.1 Legal Basis (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

4. Marketing Communications
If you opt in (e.g., by subscribing to a waitlist or newsletter), we will send you emails about new courses, offers, and related content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing will not affect service-related communications tied to a Course you've purchased.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following service providers, each of whom processes data on our behalf and only for the purposes described below:

Scope note: your assessment responses are stored only in the Website's own database and are emailed to you through the email service that sends your results. No third-party form or spreadsheet service receives them.
6. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies: for example, a session cookie that keeps you logged into your member account. These essential cookies do not require your consent, since the Website cannot function without them.
Advertising/measurement (Meta Pixel): with your consent, the Meta Pixel sets cookies and reports technical data about your visit to Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc.), so we can measure whether our Instagram/Facebook ads lead to visits and actions on this Website.
Your choice: visitors in regions that require cookie consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and similar) are shown a consent banner before any advertising measurement loads — declining keeps the Meta Pixel off entirely. Outside those regions, measurement runs without a banner. You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Your choice, its timestamp, and the notice version shown are stored in your browser.
We do not use any other analytics or tracking cookies.
7. International Data Transfers
Most of your data stays within the EU: our video content is hosted via Bunny.net (Frankfurt and Stockholm), and our member-area and account data is hosted via Lovable Cloud in the EU-West (Ireland) region.
One exception:
- Stripe may process and store payment-related data outside the EU/EEA (Stripe is a global provider with entities in multiple jurisdictions, including the US), using its own safeguards. See stripe.com/privacy.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting record retention periods), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active, plus 3 years thereafter, unless you request deletion sooner. Assessment answers are kept in the Website's own database until you ask us to delete them.
9. Your Rights
If GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
